Our Story
Clothing for the adult who has stopped dressing to impress.
Genesis by Preethy is natural clothing for tropical climates, made in Kochi, Kerala — and for a life that no longer needs to perform.

Founder's Note · Q3, At-Home & Monsoon
The monsoon makes certain truths obvious.
Fabric either lets you breathe or it does not. A dress either stays with the body through a wet afternoon, or it begins to fight it. This season we kept returning to pieces that hold their line in humidity and still feel quiet enough for the life most women are actually living.
Genesis is not interested in clothing that asks for performance. It is interested in clothing that lets a woman look like herself — with more ease, and more precision, than before.

Within
At-Home Identity, without an audience.
Clothes for the hours that belong only to you — the ones no one else sees. Unstructured, breathable, cut for a house in Kerala heat rather than a room full of people.
Some clothes ask you to perform. This kaftan asks you to sit down.

Beyond
For the life lived beyond the threshold.
Ambition, Occasion, Casual/Out — the three modes that meet the world. Structured where work asks for it, fluid where an evening does, easy where a Saturday needs nothing more.
She wore it to her son's reception. Then to a Sunday brunch. Then once again, alone, to the temple.

Archives
Never discounted. Never rushed.
Past Seasons, kept for sale and never marked down. When a Season closes, its pieces move here — same page, same photography, simply re-tagged, and fully available to buy.
Nothing here is discounted, and nothing is rushed.

Genesis Man
The same quiet conviction. A new set of shoulders.
Genesis Man extends the founding philosophy to the underserved man over forty — the same three laws, the same four life modes, applied rather than diluted. It is an addition, not a rebrand.
Make clothing for the man who notices the seam.
